1880'S 9k Gold Collar Necklace

Collar necklaces were incredibly popular during the late victorian period. Fancy linked chains in gold, silver, jet, and even rubber were commonly worn with a locket dangling from the bolt ring clasp. 9k gold was commonly used in English jewelry for it’s beautiful color and durability. This chain features fancy links, some of which are punched out with intricate designs.
